Staff Nurse – Oncology
Location: Central London, UK
Salary: £35,174 – £39,082 (annual) depending on experience
Role: Permanent, Full-time position
Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse Oncology to join one of London’s largest private hospitals!
The Oncology Unit is based in a 17-bed oncology and medical ward. Patients you would be focusing care on can be a mixture of acutely unwell patients, chemotherapy patients and end of life patients.
They are looking for a full-time permanent position to be filled! You will need to be flexible to work shifts over the course of Monday – Sunday, on a rotation of covering long days, nights and weekends.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible and focus for individualised patient care
- Facilitate the provision of a co-ordinated high quality inpatient service to all cancer patients
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Be able to recognise life threatening and/or oncology emergencies
- Record and update all nursing records accurately
- Liaising with patients, families and colleagues
- Maintain and promote all policies to the clinic and NMC
- Attend IV/chemotherapy drug administration training, complete workbook competence
- Report and document adverse incidents appropriately
- Implement a holistic approach in the care of patients requiring infection control precuations
We are looking for you to be:
- NMC Registered
- Have previous experience of working within an oncology/cancer care unit
