Staff Nurse – Endoscopy

Location: Chelmsford, Essex, UK

Salary: £27,055 – £31,954 (annual) depending on experience

Role: Permanent, Full-Time & Part-time positions available

 

Pulse is delighted to be working alongside a well-renowned private healthcare group to recruit a new Endoscopy Nurse to join their team!

 

The impressive hospital has 64 registered beds all with ensuite facilities and parent and child rooms, a 14-bed day unit as well as a high dependency unit. They focus on a range of services and specialties including surgery, medicine, oncology, plastic, cosmetic surgery and paediatrics.

 

They have the opportunity to fill both full-time and part-time permanent positions!

 

Working within a highly supportive team, we are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse who is experienced in assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating high standards of care in a safe environment. You must be able to demonstrate good clinical practice and be accountable for all actions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working in both the endoscopy procedure room and ambulatory care unit
  • Focusing on admission, recovery and discharge of patients
  • Pre-assessment patient care
  • Admitting patients in endoscopy unit
  • Rational participation in endoscopy on call rota
  • Conduct continuous supervision and revision of staff resources
  • Providing appropriate support and advice, including the MDT team as required
  • Assisting the consultants with various endoscopic procedures
  • Respond to nurse in charge appropriately when required

We are looking for you to have:

  • NMC/HCPC registration
  • Minimum of 1 year post reg experience in an endoscopy and surgical ward
  • Knowledge of JAG is essential
  • Desired experienced in leading a team / surgical first assist qualification
