Staff Nurse (Band 5) – Acute Adult Mental Health
Permanent, Full time
Grade: Band 5
Salary: £34,876 – £40,434 BAR £41,544 – £44,981 per annum
Location: Guernsey
Pulse is delighted to work in partnership with one of the largest hospitals in Guernsey to recruit a committed and driven nurse to work as part of their mental health team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a modern purpose-built facility. They will follow an evidence based models of care to provide patients with high quality care.

Skills and experience:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Current and valid driver’s licence is desirable
Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for patients.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels, including with family members, carers and acute mental health service
- Regularly participate in training, clinical supervision, line management supervision, team meetings, and to supervise junior nursing team members
- Continued professional development and training
