Description

Our client is currently seeking a motivational Physiotherapist to join their rehabilitation team within an NHS trust based in Nottingham. The role is available for the successful physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for an ongoing period.

Job duties and responsibilities include:
• To contribute to a high quality physiotherapy service to adults as part of the MDT providing a rehabilitation service within a residential setting, hospital and/or community setting.
• To carry out assessment, goal setting, implementing and evaluating treatment programmes for patients with complex problems/needs in conjunction with the patient/client, family /carers and the wider MDT.
• To work as part of the wider primary care team to provide a co-ordinated service to patients.
• To facilitate and support timely discharge and prevent inappropriate admissions by supporting patients/clients to remain as independent as possible and maintain or improve their level of function.
• To be proactively involved in the development of the service.
• To provide a high quality service by a dedicated team for patients/clients referred for Therapeutic  Reablement at home and or Short Term Rehabilitation Services
• Being proactive in facilitating discharges back to the community wherever possible, by working with patients/clients and their carers and other members of the team by setting realistic goals and evaluating their outcomes.

To be considered for this role you must have:
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist 
• Completed the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy 
• Previous NHS experience in a similar rehabilitation setting
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to establish a rapport with patients
• Good time management 
• Interest in anatomy and physiology 
• Genuine concern for the health and wellbeing of service users
• It is essential the candidate has their own transport for this role
