Registered Nurse

£42,000 per annum + benefits

Are you an A&E or ICU nurse looking to use your skills outside the acute hospital setting? If so, this could be the next step in your nursing career, whereby you can transfer this skills into a different setting. We are working alongside a global travel risk organisation working to protect peoples lives.

This role is full time and permanent and offers nurses hybrid working options – with their offices based in West London.

Nurse will be working with the organisation to take care of corporate and leisure travellers, helping them avoid risks before they escalate and providing them with immediate access to the right experts when an emergency happens.

The Role

  • Manage all medical cases in accordance with process, risk matrix and protocol
  • Apply clinical knowledge and experience to the medical case management process in accordance with policy and procedure requirements.
  • Review cases as allocated to ensure in line with process and protocol and case progress is suitable to minimise the risk to the customer and maximises the customer experience.
  • Application, monitoring and management of clinical escalations when on shift; provide direction for all escalation cases.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the team and contribute to the supportive and high performance environment.
  • Provide an outstanding standard of customer service by being responsive to customer demands – empathetic, proactive and committed to deliver on promise. All in line with customer service principles across  platforms/portals.
  • Attend and actively contribute to 1:1 meeting with manager, ensure pre-meeting preparation is completed and provided as required and documented in Compass.
  • Model expected behavioural standards at all times in all interactions with colleagues, team members, management, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, in relation to case management and clinical expertise.

Requirements

  • You must have current registration with The Nursing and Midwifery Council to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK
  • 3 years plus post qualification nursing experience within; Acute Care, Critical Care, ICU, Community Health, Discharge Planning or Emergency department background
  • Strong communication skills and problem solving abilities
