Pulse International are working on behalf of a leading NHS Health Board in Scotland to recruit Consultants & Middle Grade Doctors with clinical experience across the following areas A) General Adult, B) CAMHS, or C) Old Age Psychiatry.

For a Consultant your responsibilities would include:

  • Clinical Provision – Medical responsibility for Elderly Mental Health Liaison services, input for referrals from A&E and to Community Hospitals, developing and maintaining effective working relationships within the multi-disciplinary team, delivering safe and efficient patient services.
  • Education and Training – Organising and teaching accreditation and examination, and contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education.
  • Clinical Governance – Abide by and contribute to clinical governance frameworks, participate in audits and review outcomes.
  • Administrative – Undertake duties relating to care of patients and ensuring good medical practice and clinical activity is recorded and submitted to the relevant departments for review of clinical performance.
  • Management – Supporting with performance targets and the ongoing medical education of fellow doctors.
  • Annual Appraisal and Job Planning

Requirements to Apply:

  • You must be able to provide the following:
    • An updated CV
    • A copy of your Passport
    • A copy of your IELTS/OET English language certificate or equivalent as set out by the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • You must be a registered Doctor with a recognised qualification as per the ‘World Directory of Medical Schools’ list or meets specific criteria for an acceptable PMQ by the GMC.
  • You must be able to arrive in 2024
