Description

Are you a registered Paediatric Nurse looking for some extra work? Pulse Nursing has you covered. We are currently looking for band 5 & 6 Paediatric Nurses to join our team. If you are an experienced Paediatric Nurse with a passion for providing high quality care to patients in need, then this is the opportunity for you.

Pulse Nursing have recently secured a Tier 0 status with five well established trusts in North Central London. Having a Tier 0 status means that we receive advanced notice of shifts before other agencies, with exclusivity of these shifts.

Joining our team comes with a range of benefits and opens many doors for future opportunities. You will be working alongside other healthcare practitioners in clinical settings and will be improving the quality of lives for patients in care.

We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in the Highgate area (closest station is Archway). Pay rate is between £20.00 – £37.55 per hour.

 

Registered Paediatric Nurse Responsibilities Includes:

·       Assessing a child’s needs and providing initial care

·       Identifying changes in children’s symptoms and intervening in emergency situations

·       Administer medications, draw blood, and give childhood vaccinations following age-appropriate guidelines

·       Monitor temperature, pulse, breathing, and blood pressure and keep accurate records

·       Evaluate children for signs and symptoms of abuse

·       Provide supportive care to critical & terminal children

·       Deal with the anxieties and demands of parents and help families deal with their child’s illness or injury

·       Remain up to date on the latest developments, rules and regulations, drug therapies, equipment, and treatment procedures

 

Registered Paediatric Nurse Requirements:

·       NMC Registration 6 months

·       Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting in this speciality

·       To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV

·       Right to work within the UK – Proof will be required
