Are you a HCPC registered Physiotherapist looking to start a new and exciting role?

Our client is seeking a caring and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within their orthopaedic team at a well-established NHS trust based in London. You will be required to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for an ongoing period.

The postholder will complete comprehensive patient assessments, formulate clinical diagnoses and problem lists and provide physiotherapy as per elective orthopaedic pathways. The successful Physiotherapist will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, putting patient care and experience first, actively participate in service development and contribute to monitoring of standards of practice, and take personal responsibility in your professional development and professional registration requirements. Applying therapists must have previous experience in orthopaedics to be considered for this role.

Duties within this role will include:

  • Managing own ITU caseload
  • Treating patients undergoing planned surgery
  • Post-operative intervention
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients progress
  • Pre-admission and pre-operative assessment
  • Treating spinal cord injury
  • Making referrals when necessary to other healthcare professionals

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Previous experience working in orthopaedics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Good problem solving skills
