Pulse’s Nursing Team is currently recruiting for experienced Nursing Service Delivery Leads to join the team for a full-time role based in the Newcastle area.

These roles will be working locally in the Newcastle area providing Nursing delivery services for a Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research Project. To be successful in this role you MUST have experience of a similar role and be proficient as a phlebotomist.

This is an established programme that is looking for new candidates as it moves into its next phase.

Position: Nursing Service Delivery Lead
Location: Newcastle
Hours: 2-3 days per week, shift patterns vary
Duration: Ongoing
Essential skills:
 

  • An experienced nurse who has lead nurses in a similar environment
  • Proof of phlebotomy as you will be overseeing these services.

We are looking for experienced nurses to be able to work at least 2-3 days per week in a 7-day service. These will be long days working between 7.30am – 6.30pm with Sunday hours being 10.30am – 5pm.

This position is available from April and will be available until June 2024 when a decision will be made on where the next sites will be.

These positions are available from April and the pay rate for this role will be up to £33 per hour (umbrella rate). There are enhanced rates for weekend work

Main responsibilities of this nursing vacancy:
 

  • Responsible for the provision of clinical leadership to Healthcare Support Workers
  • Focus on the day-to-day delivery of excellence in quality care provision, ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are met, services are safe and delivered seamlessly
  • Supernumerary role which can provide additional support for HSW breaks
  • Responsible for staff attendance and scheduling
  • Reports directly to Chief Nurse
  • First point of escalation for operational queries
