Exciting Opportunity for Locum Consultant in Medical Oncology (Upper and Lower GI)

Join our innovative and dynamic team of consultants, specialty doctors, and advanced nurse practitioners in the Medical Oncology Service. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced medical oncologist with a focus on upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers to fill this rewarding locum position, based in London.

Join our team as we strive to deliver world-class care to our patients! We’re searching for a dynamic team member eager to collaborate and manage the toxicities of cancer treatments, along with addressing symptoms of cancer. This role involves providing outreach services throughout the hospital, offering vital advice to patients newly diagnosed with cancer. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for both outpatient and inpatient management of patients with upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers. There’s ample opportunity for involvement in clinical research and service development, making this position ideal for those passionate about advancing cancer care. Salary range for this rewarding role is £93,666 to £126,881.

Qualifications and Training:

  • GMC Registration.
  • MRCP or equivalent.
  • CCT in Medical Oncology or appropriate qualifications.
  • Previous or Relevant Experience
  • Experience in the management of upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers.
