Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)

Maidstone, United Kingdom

Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) or Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) to join our dynamic team in Maidstone. The successful candidates will provide high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties within the community settings such as depot clinics and duty and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users’ mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during acute episodes.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to service users and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions and interventions.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registration 6 months 
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an anaesthetic nurse
  • To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV
  • Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
