ITU Clinical Nurse Manager

Location: Central London, UK

Salary: £48,000- £51,000+ Outstanding Benefits

Role: Permanent, Full-Time position

Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting for an ITU Clinical Nurse Manager to join one of the largest private healthcare organisations in London! This well-renowned hospital has over 206 registered beds, including 815 operating theatres across 4 locations. The manager will get the opportunity to be part of team who will be providing clinical assistance to the critical care department in order to promote and ensure that excellent patient care is always provided in the future.

This is a developmental position for someone who desires to be an ITU Matron or Head of Nursing in the future.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a market leading salary of up to £51,000 per annum depending on experience and skills.

About the role

As ITU Manager, you will be responsible for leading the department alongside the supervision of the Intensive Care Matron and will be responsible of the deployment, overseeing, and mentorship of personnel within the clinical area, supporting the hospital management team in providing clinical leadership.

The post holder will also be responsible for budgeting and ensuring patient safety and an exceptional patient experience within the unit, all while adhering to clinical governance and CQC guidelines and standards.

We are looking for you to have:

  • A registered general nursing qualification combined with a post-graduate degree
  • A qualification in Intensive Care is required.
  • Advanced Life Support Provider Certification is highly sought after.
  • Previous team leadership and development experience
  • A solid awareness of clinical governance, quality, and risk in the context of patient safety.
  • Excellent IT abilities
