Pulse International is thrilled to announce that we have partnered with various hospitals across the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand. We are on an active search for dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapists to join our clients dynamic healthcare teams. This is a unique opportunity to expand your professional horizons while making a significant impact on patient lives in New Zealand.

We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists who can fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Reviewing Patients’ Medical History: Must be able to review medical records, engage with patients to understand their history, and observe them performing tasks.
  • Evaluating Patients’ Condition and Needs: Should be capable of assessing the physical, social, psychological, and environmental needs of patients.
  • Developing Treatment Plans: Expected to create individualized treatment plans to address a patient’s needs and help them meet specific goals.
  • Implementing and Evaluating Treatment Plans: Responsible for carrying out treatment plans in various settings, periodically reviewing treatments, evaluating progress, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Liaising with Other Professionals: Must be able to work with other professionals such as doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, equipment suppliers, architects, as well as patients’ families, teachers, carers, and employers.·       
  • Keeping Up-to-Date Records: Should maintain accurate written and electronic records of treatments and progress to ensure continuity of care and meet legal requirements.·       
  • Training and Supervising: May also be required to train students and supervise the work of occupational therapy assistants.

Application Requirements:

  • An updated CV with any gaps that are one more or more explained.
  • A copy of your Passport.
  • At least six months of experience as a registered Occupational Therapist within the last two years.
