Pulse have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Dietitian, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Chigwell , which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Dietitian, you will be working in a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions specialising in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy and ventilator care.

Your main responsibilities as a Dietitian:

  • manage a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. 
  • To be compassionate and open minded: treating colleagues, patients, carers and relatives with dignity and respect
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate local policies, protocols and care pathways.
  • Contribute to the skill development of junior staff within the unit in regards to dietetics.

What we are looking for in a Dietitian:

  • Must be registered with the HCPC
  • BSc in Dietetics of post graduate diploma in Dietetics
  • To be compassionate and open minded: treating colleagues, patients, carers and relatives with dignity and respect
  • Ability to take instruction and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
