Deputy Ward Manager / Sister
Location: Leicester, UK
Salary: Band 6 equivalent
Role: Permanent, Full-Time
Are you an experienced senior staff nurse (SSN) wishing to advance your career as a Deputy Ward Sister in a prestigious private hospital in Leicester?
We are looking for a Deputy Ward Sister with prior experience and exposure from a surgical background. You will be in charge of the surgical ward, which includes two higher observation beds.
On a daily basis, you will guarantee the smooth operation of the ward and be the shift leader. As a senior staff nurse will be offering high-quality clinical and non-clinical care. In addition, in the absence of the ward manager, assist the leadership.

We are looking for you to be:
- NMC Registered
- Previous experience as senior level – exposure to clinical governance
- Previous experience in surgical
- Phlebotomy trained
