Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to join a prestigious healthcare institution in London. As a Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients, contributing to the overall well-being of the community. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of adult patients.
  2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  3. Provide expert psychiatric advice to colleagues and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  4. Participate in the on-call rota as required, ensuring timely and effective response to emergencies.
  5. Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Medical degree and full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  2. Completion of specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry.
  3. CCT or equivalent in General Adult Psychiatry.
  4. Proven experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist, demonstrating clinical excellence.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
