Description

Pulse are looking for reliable and experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses who are looking for full-time work in the community across Kent. This role offers a 3-month full-time placement with shifts available Monday to Friday.

The successful community psychiatric nurse should have excellent communication skills who can work both efficiently and in a timely manner. Within this role you will offer assessments and treatment to children and young people with mental health disorders. As part of this role you will also be required to cover duty assessments.

Requirements for this role:

  • At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the mental health sector
  • Must have an NHS smartcard
  • Hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment
  • PMVA certificate (includes original 3/5 day course & any refreshers)
  • Able to provide proof of immunizations
  • Able to provide an enhanced child and adult DBS or documents to apply for one
