Description

We are delighted to be offering Community Nurses a rewarding opportunity to work in Homerton. Our Community Nurses work independently visiting patient’s home and support them with their diverse needs within a wonderful community setting.

With the support of the Community Nurse, patients with complex care needs can be supported to avoid hospital admissions from the comfort of their own environment. This crucial care provides the patients with dignified care package on a daily / weekly basis

Day shifts available from 8:30 am – 5pm Monday – Friday with hourly pay rates of £22.00 – £26.48

Community Nurse responsibilities includes:

  • Providing basic care such as checking temperature, blood pressure and breathing
  • Changing Female catheter’s
  • Handling diabetic care such as providing insulin
  • Medicine management
  • Compliant with documentation
  • Wound management & Symptom control
  • Time management

 

Community Nurse Role Requirements:

  • NMC Pin
  • 6 Months NHS experience
  • Driving license – use of own car
  • To meet our Framework Compliance requirement (we will guide you through this)
