Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Mon – Thurs 8:30am – 4:30pm, Fri 8:30 am– 2pm
Location: Merseyside, Wirral
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 + Bonus
Job Description:
Pulse have been given a great opportunity to work with a global private company in Wirral, that uses innovative technologies to make clinical trials available for as many patients as possible. They do this by building their awareness of existing trials and simplifying their access to the latest medicine through the provision of home and virtual visits. Various specialties are studied and attention to detail is important.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to be part of a fast paced, multi-disciplinary team based in Merseyside. You would Reporting to the site director and will support the management of the department with particular emphasis on quality and clinical standards. To be visible and approachable for patients, staff and visitors alongside conducting clinical work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical leadership and team working – ensuring planning and delivery of care is aligned to the professional values of care, compassion and respect.
- Evidence based, clinically effective practice – responsible for carrying out clinical practice within clinical area ensuring that high quality, current evidence based nursing care underpins all actions and interactions with patients.
- Continuous quality improvement – support and facilitate a culture of protecting patients from harm and deprivation of basic rights ensuring a safe and effective service with continuous quality improvement.
- Clinical expertise – possess knowledge of Research Governance and current legislation relating to research
Key Requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- Patient assessment and phlebotomy skills
- ECG experience
