Pulse Mental Health, a prominent recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapist (Band 7) with expertise in In-Patient Care, particularly in Elderly and Dementia Care. This exciting opportunity is with a well-established NHS Trust in North London. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Physiotherapist (Band 7) specializing in In-Patient Care, your role will be crucial in enhancing the well-being of patients, with a specific focus on elderly and dementia care. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Clinical Expertise: Apply advanced physiotherapeutic skills to assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients with a focus on elderly and dementia care, ensuring optimal outcomes.

  2. Respiratory Competence: Demonstrate expertise in managing respiratory conditions, providing effective interventions and support to patients with respiratory challenges.

  3. Discharge Planning: Lead and contribute to effective discharge planning, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate safe and timely patient discharges.

  4. Holistic Care: Provide person-centered care to elderly and dementia patients, addressing their physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.

  5. Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, adhering to relevant guidelines and policies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Extensive experience in In-Patient Care, particularly in Elderly and Dementia Care.
  • Respiratory competence and experience in managing respiratory conditions.
  • Proven ability in discharge planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
