Currently, we are seeking a Band 7 Paediatric Physiotherapist with experience in community settings to join our team in London.

Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Band 7 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team, providing high-quality care to children and young people in the community. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with children, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, person-centered interventions aimed at promoting mobility, function, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people with a range of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, within the community setting.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions based on assessment findings, evidence-based practice, and family goals.
  • Provide a range of physiotherapy interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, gait training, and equipment provision, to support children and young people in achieving their functional goals.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement therapy goals and strategies that promote participation and well-being in home, school, and community settings.
  • Offer advice, education, and support to families and caregivers on promoting physical development, managing conditions, and optimizing function and independence at home and in the community.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals, educational providers, and community resources to coordinate integrated and seamless care for children and young people.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including clinical records, progress notes, and outcome measures, in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience working as a Physiotherapist, with specific experience in paediatrics and community settings preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of paediatric conditions, developmental milestones, and family-centered practice.
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and therapeutic skills, with the ability to engage children and families in therapy and promote participation and independence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and build rapport with children, families, and caregivers.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
