Description

Pulse is now seeking to recruit a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Palliative care team within an client based in London. The post is available for the successful physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week.

As a Palliative Care Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in the care of critically ill patients. You will assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy interventions for patients in the unit and other critical care settings. Applying candidates should have previous experience within a similar setting for this role.

To be considered for this role you must: 

  • Have previous experience in a similar NHS role
  • Have HCPC registration 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Manual handling experience 
  • Hold the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy 

 

We are looking for:

  • • Highly developed clinical reasoning skills necessary to tailor and adapt therapeutic interventions across a complex patient caseload
    • Confident leadership and communication skills
    • Commitment to and an understanding of the ethos of Rehabilitative Palliative Care.
    • Experience in a specialist setting is not necessary.
    • Strong experience as a physiotherapist working within a variety of areas such as oncology, respiratory, care of the elderly or neurology.
