In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals to achieve their maximum potential and enhance their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Expertise: Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.

  2. Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership within the occupational therapy team, offering mentorship and support to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and empowering work environment.

  3. Complex Case Management: Take a lead role in managing complex cases, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.

  4. Innovation in Practice: Stay abreast of the latest developments in occupational therapy, integrating innovative approaches into practice to enhance client outcomes.

  5. Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients’ needs and rights, ensuring that occupational therapy services are delivered in a client-centered and culturally sensitive manner.

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  2. Registration with the relevant professional occupational therapy board.
  3. Extensive experience as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, demonstrating advanced clinical skills and leadership capabilities.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
