Are you a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a challenging role in mental health? Pulse Mental Health, a prominent recruitment agency specializing in mental health professionals, is actively searching for a skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to understand the needs of individuals with mental health challenges.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to enhance clients’ daily living skills and independence.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to holistic care plans and effective interventions.
- Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health and well-being goals.
- Participate in care planning, reviews, and discharge planning, ensuring continuous assessment and adaptation of interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to professional standards and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration and experience at Band 7 level.
- Proven experience in mental health settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of the occupational therapy role.
- Excellent assessment and analytical skills to tailor interventions to individual client needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
