Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Band 7 Neurology Physiotherapist to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare network, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with acute neurology conditions, including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and stroke.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and treating patients with acute neurological conditions in an inpatient setting.
  • Developing and implementing tailored physiotherapy treatment plans to address individual patient needs.
  • Providing ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment interventions based on patient progress.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care delivery.
  • Offering support and education to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation goals and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Extensive experience working in acute inpatient neurology settings, with a focus on spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation.
  • Strong clinical skills in neurological assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
