Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Band 7 Neurology Physiotherapist to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare network, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with acute neurology conditions, including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and stroke.

Responsibilities:

Assessing and treating patients with acute neurological conditions in an inpatient setting.
Developing and implementing tailored physiotherapy treatment plans to address individual patient needs.
Providing ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment interventions based on patient progress.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care delivery.
Offering support and education to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation goals and strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Extensive experience working in acute inpatient neurology settings, with a focus on spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation.
Strong clinical skills in neurological assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
