Are you a skilled and dedicated Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) looking for a rewarding career opportunity in London? Pulse Mental health are currently seeking a Band 7 CBT Therapist to join a dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions for individuals experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.

Individualized Treatment: Tailor treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring a person-centered approach that promotes positive outcomes.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.

Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment decisions and measure progress over time.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to relevant guidelines and policies.

Continued Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in CBT and related fields through ongoing training and professional development activities.

Client Education: Provide psychoeducation to clients, families, and carers to enhance understanding and facilitate the management of mental health conditions.

To be considered for this role applying therapists must have the following:

  • A postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • Completed LTC training
  • Extensive Mental Health experience
  • The ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Be comfortable providing 1:1 or group consultation (face-to-face and via telephone)
  • An IAPT supervision course is ideal, but not essential for the role
  • Be empathetic and understanding
