Pulse Mental Health, a recruitment agency specializing in mental health services, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist with a strong background in neurology and stroke rehabilitation. Position Overview:
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist with expertise in neurology and stroke rehabilitation, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy interventions to enhance the overall well-being of patients, particularly those with neurological and stroke-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with neurological and stroke conditions to identify physical rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address functional limitations and promote recovery.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams, including neurologists, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them in the rehabilitation process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress and adjustments to treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Band 6 Physiotherapist experience, with a focus on neurology and stroke rehabilitation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration with diverse healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in the context of neurological and stroke-related challenges.
- Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care.
