Pulse Mental Health, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist with General Acute experience to join an esteemed NHS Trust in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare services in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Physiotherapist (Band 6) in General Acute Care, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients across diverse clinical settings. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans for patients in general acute care, promoting optimal physical function and independence.

  2. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care, contributing to the overall well-being of patients.

  3. Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, interventions, and progress, adhering to relevant policies and guidelines.

  4. Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in their rehabilitation process.

  5. Continuous Improvement: Participate in clinical audits and contribute to service development initiatives, striving for continuous improvement in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Substantial experience in General Acute Care settings within the NHS.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Work Pattern:

  • Full-time position: 5 days a week.
  • Flexibility provided for weekend work as needed.
