Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 6 Community Rehab Physiotherapist to join a dynamic healthcare team based in Manchester. This position is available to start as soon as possible offering part-time hours for a period of 10 months. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in their homes and community settings, promoting independence and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to patients with a wide range of rehabilitation needs, including neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals, utilizing a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices.
  • Deliver rehabilitation interventions in patients’ homes and community settings, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, carers, and support networks.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies, functional exercises, and adaptive techniques to maximize independence and facilitate recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Proven experience working as a Band 6 Physiotherapist, preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Valid UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
