Pulse Mental Health, a prominent recruitment agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist with expertise in General Acute Medicine, particularly in Oncology and Palliative Care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a prestigious NHS Trust located in Central London.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Physiotherapist (Band 6) specializing in General Acute Medicine, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, treatment, and support of patients with a focus on Oncology and Palliative Care. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Clinical Expertise: Apply advanced physiotherapeutic skills in the assessment and treatment of patients with acute medical conditions, specifically within Oncology and Palliative Care settings.

  2. Collaborative Care: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring holistic and patient-centered care.

  3. Rehabilitation: Contribute to the rehabilitation and enhancement of physical function for patients, supporting their overall well-being.

  4. Educational Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting understanding and active participation in the rehabilitation process.

  5. Service Development: Participate in service development activities, contributing to the enhancement of physiotherapy services within the NHS Trust.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Significant experience in General Acute Medicine, with a focus on Oncology and Palliative Care.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing and treating patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
