Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in London. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the overall success of healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their occupational therapy needs.
  2. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients’ physical and psychological conditions.
  3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
  4. Providing therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities and independence.
  5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  6. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences.
  7. Keeping abreast of best practices, research, and advancements in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  2. HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  3. Proven experience as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
