Job Description: Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for your next career move? Pulse Mental Health is seeking experienced and passionate Occupational Therapists to join our expanding team. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients’ occupational needs and goals.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding coping strategies and functional skills.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist in mental health settings.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
