Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an integral member of our healthcare network, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ occupational performance and functional abilities.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions to support patients in achieving their occupational and recovery objectives.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery and holistic support for patients.
  • Offering education and support to patients and their families regarding strategies for maintaining well-being and enhancing independence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Previous experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in mental health settings is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Passion for promoting recovery and empowering individuals to achieve their goals.
