Band 6/7 – Senior Mental Health Practitioner – Kidderminster

Are you an empathetic Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?

We are now recruiting for a Band 6/7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join an innovative team to join a well-established NHS trust based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The role is available to start as soon as possible, and the appointed candidate will need to work full-time hours per week for an initial 3 months from the start date, potentially extending.

The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively across the service to improve the well-being of people and reduce risk to them. To work as part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing team to provide assessment and support to patients experiencing mental health difficulties and to those on the autistic spectrum. This role will mainly offer face-to-face appointments and can offer some time to work remotely. It is ideal that the post holder has previous experience and the correct registration.

Skills and experience needed:

• Show excellent CAMHS experience
• Able to complete urgent assessments
• Extensive experience of working as a CAMHS Practitioner
• Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
• Experience of a wide range of young people’s mental health presentations
• Can work well independently and as part of the team
