Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our expanding team. As a Band 5 PWP, you will play a crucial role in delivering low-intensity interventions to individuals experiencing common mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to make a positive impact on the mental wellbeing of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based low-intensity interventions to clients with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Providing guided self-help interventions, psychoeducation, and support to clients using a range of therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and support for clients.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of clients, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualification as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a Band 5 PWP or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for common mental health problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
