Anaesthetic Practitioner (Band 5)
Location: Central London, UK
Salary: £32,466 – £39,520.80 per annum + benefits  
Role: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours
Monday – Sunday – early (07.30am – 4pm) late (12.30 – 9pm) and long days (7.30am – 9pm)

The five theatres provide a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none and includes fully integrated and equipped theatres.

The theatre team comprises of Consultants and Practitioners who have vast experience and knowledge across a range of specialties. There are many complex procedures carried out daily, across a range of acute specialities, including Gynaecology & Obstetrics, as well as general and paediatric surgery.

  • Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Working closely with the recovery, and Scrub teams to provide exceptional and skilled care.

 

What requirements are needed to be successful in the job role?

  • Children’s Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC/ HCPC registration
  • Trained in anaesthetic for paediatrics
  • 12 months anaesthetics experience
  • Post graduate experience in Theatres
  • Prepare the Anaesthetic room according to the individual needs of the patient and Anaesthetist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
