Anaesthetic Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
Location: Watford, Bushey
Salary: Band 5/6 (annual) depending on experience
Role: Permanent, Full-Time
Pulse is working alongside a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an Anaesthetic Practitioner /Operating Department Practitioner ODP for one of theirestablished hospitals in Watford (North London).

- You will have the opportunity to improve your talents as the unit performs numerous surgical operations such as general surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, plastics, and ophthalmology.
The successful nurse or Operating Department Practitioner(ODP) will be enthusiastic and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment specialising in complex procedures such as Orthopaedics, Neuro spinal, General surgery and Gynaecology.
Candidate Requirements
- NMC registered nurse or HPC registered practitioner
- Anaesthetic module
- You will be an eager and devoted team player who is used to working under little supervision
- You be able to offer exceptional planned care for patients during the perioperative stage, as well as helping in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre.
Responsibilities & Duties
- You will prepare the Theatre/Anaesthetic room for surgery
- You will ensure all equipment and supplies are in stock/updated
- You be running a theatre list without supervision
- You will be performing Anaesthetic duties
