Pulse are currently looking for a permanent OT to join one of our long standing private client in Somerset.

We are looking for an OT that will provide a specialist day and residential education for students aged 6 to 19 years with autism and associated conditions, such as ADHD and dyslexia support children and young people from primary level, through Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, as well as offering a range of Post-16 options, both in-house and via partnerships with local colleges in Somerset. 

This position is for someone who has a passion and knowledge surrounding ASD and sensory processing disorders.  The successful applicant will be

  • HCPC registered
  • BSc Occupational Therapy or profession specific equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children with complex needs is essential.

You will have an experience/awareness of Sensory Processing Disorders and the application of sensory integration theory in practice, assessment and clinical observations and you will be able to demonstrate a dynamic and creative approach to delivering treatment approaches.
