Pulse are working with a leading NHS Trust who provide a range of health services for adults and children who live across Hertfordshire

An opportunity has become available in one of their Acute hospitals for a Band 6 equivalent Occupational Therapist to join their team on a full time basis.

The role is based across the elderly rehab ward and the intermediate care ward providing discharge to assess services.

You will be working with adult patients who may have a variety of conditions including orthopaedics, neurology. amputees, surgery, respiratory and as such will be required to have the assessment and treatment skills for these areas.

The post would also involve duties as a member of the senior team within in the unit, including supervising other members of staff, participating in service development and audit. 

CPD is encouraged and the trust provides excellent support through in-service training, mandatory training and clinical supervision. 

A valid driving license is essential and access to own vehicle as home patient visits will form part of the role, though these can vary in amount, usually between 1-4 per week.
