Pulse is now actively seeking to recruit Band 6 Acute Physiotherapist to work on acute medical wards at a well-established NHS trust located in Lancashire.  The hours will be 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 08:00- 16:00 - with some flexibility.

The successful candidate must have the ability to support the inpatient therapy team. Have experience of working in acute and medical areas and have experience in the discharge of patients. Part time will be considered for the right applicant.

Duties within this role will include:
• Managing own ITU caseload
• Treating patients undergoing planned surgery and patients who have been admitted due to a traumatic incident or accident
• Pre-admission and pre-operative assessment
• Treating spinal cord injury
• Monitoring and evaluating patients progress  
• Making referrals when necessary to other healthcare professionals
• Daily rehab to patients on the ward

To be considered for this role you must have:
• Have a degree in Physiotherapy and have relevant NHS experience in the following areas
• HCPC registered
• Previous experience working in similar role
