Annual compliance updates

On an annual basis you are required to provide evidence that shows you are up to date with and have the skills and competency in the following areas: 

1. Moving & handling   
2. Basic life support (in line with Resuscitation Council UK guidelines)
3. Paediatric life support (as required)  
4. Health & safety   
5. Complaints handling   
6. Protecting and using patient information including the Caldicott principles
7. Infection control   
8. Fire Prevention   
9. Lone worker guidelines   
10. Conflict resolution   
11. Safeguarding vulnerable adults   
12. Child protection level 2 or 3 (as required)  
13. Information governance  
14. Counter fraud  
15. Equality & diversity  

 
Compliance made easy 

To support you with the above, we have designed competency assessments that you can complete online at your leisure for all above items.   

In addition, you will also need to annually update your DBS, CV, References, Occupational Health, Appraisal and Professional Indemnity Insurance (as required).  

With regards to Right to Work, if you are a Non-UK citizen, you will need to update this as per the terms of your visa.
