Are you an experienced CAMHS Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?

Pulse are currently seeking a CAMHS social worker for a private client based in Potters Bar to star immediately. This is a permanent position offering full time hours.

Salary for this role is up to £38,000 per annum

Duties include

  • Attending both wards weekly ward rounds and CPA’s
  • Prepare Social work care plans and disseminate for new admissions
  • Prepare monthly Safeguarding report for Hospital director with assistance
  • Maintain electronic safeguarding log
  • Keep SMT/MDT abreast with safeguarding follow ups you may want to advise how best to do this. Perhaps end of week overview
  • Undertake home risk assessments as directed by MDT
  • Attend monthly restrictive practice meeting
  • Attend monthly Clinical Governance meeting
  • Liaise with external agencies and carers re safeguarding matters

Qualifications and experience required

  • A core profession and registration with the relevant governing body. This can include Social Work, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Nurse, OT
  • Experience of working within CAMHS and multi-agency working
  • Extensive risk management experience
  • Experience of brief focused interventions
  • Experience of safeguarding and child protection
  • A sound understanding of NICE guidelines (evidence-based recommendations for health and care in England.)
