Pulse is recruiting for a Band 6 Qualified Social Worker to join a Community Psychiatric Team, for a well-established NHS trust based in West Yorkshire. The candidate appointed will provide community based care to clients with complex mental health needs who have been referred into the Team. This post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week.

The Post Holder will be responsible for the triage/assessment of routine referrals to the assessment team, signposting to other agencies when appropriate and to the wider CMHT. 

Competitive pay rates are available for this role.  

Main duties include: 
• To administer intra-muscular medication and monitoring treatment plans
• To work as a part of duty service within the CMHT.
• To supervise and mentor student nurses
• To demonstrate effective networking skills and ensure a holistic approach to meet service user needs.
• To work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users and their families
