Assistant Team Manager – Children's Assessment Team - Berkshire – Up to £41K + 15% retention bonus

I am looking to speak to current Assistant Team Managers or experienced children's senior social workers with mentoring/management experience to become part of a Child Contact and Initial Assessment Team in Berkshire. The contact and assessment team are the front door to the service, taking referrals and performing initial assessments for children in the locality. Previous experience in a duty team will be ideal so you can hit the ground running, however career development and managerial support is strong, therefore applicants with a strong children’s safeguarding background will of course be considered.

The ATM will be expected to have a depth of knowledge and skill to be a leader among the team, working closely with the team manager to achieve the best safeguarding outcomes for all children and young people moving through the service. Although previously holding the title of manager is not a ‘must’, a previous experience of mentoring other social workers as a Practice Educator would be a large benefit to any applicant looking to take the next step up the career ladder.

Employee Benefits for Children's Contact & Assessment Team Assistant Team Manager:

  • Up to 14% pension contribution
  • £15,000 retention bonus
  • Relocation package of up to £8000
  • Flexible working schemes
  • Generous annual leave allowances
  • Childcare Vouchers
  • Clear career progression and promotion criteria to TM and much much more

Requirements for Contact & Assessment Team ATM:

  • HCPC Registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Full UK license holder
