This position will be based at North Middlesex Hospital, the succesful candidate will work solely on providing the highest levels of service to our NHS Trust. You will have the benefits of being able to work in a very focused way within in a close-knit and lively team that is dedicated towards one common goal.
Our offices are open from 6am - 10pm every day in order to provide the NHS a complete service, even out of core hours, and as a result any applicants must be happy to work a variety of shifts within this period Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Identifying and placing the correct healthcare professionals for shifts, maximising staff bookings by accurate entry of availability and bookings, maintaining and updating company databases and ensuring timely and accurate data entry of timesheets
- Assisting in the reduction of external agency usage by taking a consultative approach with the client whenever possible, as well as managing agencies where applicable
- Liaise with ward managers on a regular basis, always showing a high degree of professionalism and courtesy, maintaining a customer-focused attitude to your duties at all times
- Assisting in ensuring all candidates are fully compliant and cleared to work, working within the relevant quality policies and procedures as well as our own recruitment procedures, ensuring that every placement you make is fully qualified to deliver a high quality of care to affected patients
Candidates for this role should enjoy and excel in building relationships with associates and your client, be an excellent communicator and genuinely enjoy talking with people. Candidate should also have strong IT skills, be able to multitask effectively and not be afraid of change, as things are frequently in flux in this line of work.
Determined and self-motivated applicants are a must, with previous experience in a target driven or customer service environment and a genuine will to succeed being ideal for this position! Exposure to the NHS or wider healthcare sector, is a desirable but by no means essential quality.
