Job Summary

Position: Specialty Dr in Acute Psychiatry within an independent hospital

Hours: This position is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week 

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum

Dates:  Immediate start (permanent role)

Location:  This vacancy is situated within County Durham

 

Job description

The successful candidate will be joining an expanding and clinically diverse hospital.  There is strong governance at the hospital and the successful applicant will be expected to take an active role in service and quality development and to participate in the weekly doctors’ meeting.  The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in working in acute psychiatry, and a commitment to innovation, evidence-based interventions, multi-professional working and service-user involvement. 

Skills

  • You must have; excellent verbal communication skills, writing skills and be computer literate.
  • You need to be Flexible, remain professional at all times and to be able to work with Adults of all ages.

Experience/Grade

  • You must be GMC registered
  • 3 years experience in psychiatry
  • MRCPsych
  • Section 12 approved
