Pulse Allied Health team take on charity run for Teenage Cancer Trust

Our Allied Health team are taking part in the BUPA London 10K charity run in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust on 25th May 2015.

Pulse AHP has selected The Teenage Cancer Trust as their chosen charity to support throughout 2015, undertaking many different fundraisers to raise money for the charity. The next event on the calendar is the BUPA London 10k run. The race taking place on 25th May in London starts at The Mall, continuing clockwise around Westminster and runners will cross the finish line opposite Buckingham Palace.

Our team of runners will take to the streets of Westminster led by Operations Director, Kathryn Scott; when asked why she and her team have chosen tackle this charity run she said: “Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and teenage cancer is an illness that has personally affected people in my team so it is a cause that is really close to our hearts. We’ve currently raised over £1000 but we want to smash our target even further.”

Running alongside Kathryn will be some of her team which include Shelley Nayler, Niki Cooper, Shane Austin, Jonathan Scott, Ryan Bird, Michelle Johnson and Chloe Huckle.
