Description

Position: Oncology Day Unit Manager

Location: Brighton and Hove, East Sussex

Type: Full-time, Permanent – 37.5 hrs

Salary: £41,659 – £47,672 a year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oncology Day Unit Manager to join the Oncology Team – at a leading private hospital in the South of England. With a commitment to their employees’ well-being through prioritizing work-life balance, ongoing development, support and reward!

Role Overview:

As the Oncology Day Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing exemplary planned care for cancer patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT). You will lead as a specialist in SACT, providing expert education and driving research and audit initiatives in cancer care.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, with a proven background in oncology or chemotherapy
  • Recognized qualification and competency in the delivery of SACT
  • Recognized or working towards a qualification in Independent prescribing
  • Evidence of professional development in management and clinically related cancer studies
