When working PAYE with Pulse Nursing, you’ll benefit from our convenient ‘faster pay’ payroll service, so you receive your money quicker. Just submit your timesheet before 9.30am, and you’ll receive the money in your bank account on the same day. 

Ensuring you pay the right amount of tax

Our payroll system calculates tax by the week you work, not by the week you are paid. Unlike other agencies, we do this as it reduces the likelihood of you paying excess tax when working with us.

We deduct tax in accordance with HMRC tax-free allowances each time you submit your timesheet. Therefore, if you submit multiple timesheets in a payroll week, you may notice that for timesheets later in the week, you pay more tax compared with timesheets from earlier in the week. This is because we use the maximum tax allowance permitted by timesheet. Once your tax allowance is used in a payroll week, you may see more significant tax deductions on later timesheets.
