Let’s talk more about Locala Health and Wellbeing

Locala Health and Wellbeing is a not-for-profit community healthcare provider that employs over 1,400 staff across the partnership and has a great sense of commitment when it comes to encouraging staff to look out for their colleagues and to support and help each other in any way they can.

The organisation works closely with other local NHS organisations, as well as GPs, Social Services and Local Authorities to distribute a co-ordinated approach to care and support. In 2022/23, it delivered more than 1 million interactions with patients and service users in their homes, care homes and clinics.

As a colleague-owned social enterprise, all permanent colleagues automatically become members of the organisation – giving you a say in how Locala runs and develops. Additionally, their own Colleague Health and Wellbeing Programme as well as their Employee and Occupational Health Programmes demonstrate the strong duty of care for employees that is at the core of how they operate.
